Woke up and did my Kenpo p90x... at least most of it until the DVD scratches ended it. Then had a nice lunch with Grace and went shopping. Dropped by GC to check out the game and it was terrible. Played 2 orbits but it was a waste of time. So I watched some TV and then did the late night pickup. I played poorly and did not enjoy it.
On the Waterfront. What a great movie. Even though the themes are now well worn and the ending a little corny, you can tell it's a master of the genre, a classic. The cultural aspect is also classic and great. Marlon Brando's performance is truly breathtaking. And the well known contender scene lives up to the hype. I loved the romantic scenes too. They fit in perfectly, weren't overdone, and respected realistic gender roles. Acting 10, Story 10, Style 9.
